Dr. Kleinschmidt is the chief-in house counsel of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company EADS NV (EADS) and has in the capacity of the head of the legal department of various group member companies been advising the top management for over twenty years on the worldwide activities in the aircraft, aerospace and defence industries. His advisory work focuses on the drafting of international know-how transfer, co-operation and joint venture agreements as well as the cross-border restructuring of groups of companies. Compliance programs and organizational structures as well as publication duties under the capital markets laws in various European countries form a further focal point.
